System Upgrade and Software Errors

Due to changing regulations regarding electronic health records (EHR), we have recently upgraded our practice management software.  As is often the case, there are often problems to iron out during the transition.  One of the problems we’ve learned about is the mailing out of patient account statements that indicate that you may have been reported to a collection agency.  We realize that this is an alarming letter to receive and we sincerely apologize for the error.  We assure you that no one has been sent to a collection agency at this time.
